Coronavirus Update 3/11/2020 – EXPO Postponed

ICMA shares concern for everyone being impacted by the Coronavirus, and after considerable review of recent developments, we feel it is in the best interest of our members and participants to postpone the ICMA EXPO. The EXPO will no longer be taking place from March 29-April 1 at Saddlebrook Resort and has been rescheduled for August 30-September 2.

The EXPO is an event that provides card industry representatives an opportunity to receive education and meet with key suppliers. We recognize the value of this to the industry and with this year being ICMA’s 30th anniversary, we are committed to hosting this one-of-a-kind industry event at a later date in 2020. Our intent is for the location of the ICMA EXPO to remain the same, and additional details will be forthcoming as we hear from the Saddlebrook Resort about what our options are.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate this challenging situation and will update you as soon as we have new dates to confirm. We will also be in direct touch with speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and registered attendees once the new dates are known.

Registration rates – if you register prior to the discount deadline of January 28 are below. More information to come when the EXPO is rescheduled.

Member Early-Discounted Rate for 3-Day EXPO: USD $995
After January 28, the Member rate is $1,195

See below for Golf Outing and Spouse Program information, and ICMA’s cancellation policy.

ICMA Golf Outing

While you’re registering for the EXPO, don’t forget to sign up for some friendly competition at this year’s golf outing. Designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer, both golf courses at Saddlebrook incorporate rolling fairways and well-maintained greens along with wilderness areas full of cypress, pine and palm trees. The ICMA Golf Outing will be played on the Palmer Course on Sunday morning at 9am. Who will have the longest drive, closest to the tee or best foursome this year?

The cost to play is $165 and includes greens fees, breakfast at the clubhouse and lunch on the course.

ICMA Spouse Program

If you’re planning on bringing your spouse/partner to the EXPO, we’ve set up a program for them to connect while you’re in session.

  • Culinary Tour of Downtown Tampa
On Monday from 12:30 – 4:00pm, registered spouses will enjoy a fun culinary outing on the Tampa Bay Riverwalk. Our first stop will be at Riverwalk Café at the Tampa Museum of Art for a starter course. This is riverside dining overlooking downtown Tampa. We will then enjoy a nice lunch at Riversedge and lastly dessert and coffee at a popular location called Spain. Wine at each stop along the way! This will be a fun way to see the area and dine with fellow spouses.
  • Brunch
Registered spouses will gather together for a brunch at the hotel and to plan shopping or other outings for the day.

The registration fee for the spouse program is $275 and includes the opening reception, Monday night reception and the Elan dinner as well as the activities above. Be sure to add that session when you register for the EXPO.
